Facebook now de-platforming conservative journalists who simply ask Muslim congressional candidates tough questions

It’s laughable to hear the Big Tech titans complain about issues like discrimination, bigotry, racism, and authoritarianism as they supposedly pertain to POTUS Donald Trump and his administration because characterizing him in that way is so blatantly dishonest.

The president hasn’t banned or censored or deplatformed anyone that we know of, but the opposite cannot be said of the Big Tech titans who are busy meting out such treatment to conservatives and, in one recent case, a Jewish conservative.

Former Project Veritas investigator Laura Loomer is making a name for herself exposing corruption, lies, and digging deep for details on public figures and elected officials – mostly Democrats – because the “mainstream” media refuses to do so. And in her work, she has scored some notable ‘bombshells,’ such as this week’s discovery that embattled Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., twice now accused of sexual harassment, doesn’t have a valid law license though he’s just been nominated to become his party’s choice for Minnesota attorney general.

What Loomer is doing is real journalism – the kind of street-pounding, shoe-leather journalism that the corporate establishment media used to do before they sold their souls to the Deep State Left.

But at every turn, she’s being punished, especially by the Big Tech titans who are shutting down conservative voices in order to push fake news establishment propaganda.

In recent days Loomer became the latest conservative independent media journalist to be de-platformed by Facebook over a video she posted featuring her attempt to ask questions of Democratic congressional candidate Ilhan Omar at a rally in Minnesota — and got assaulted in the process.

As Voice of Europe reports:

Rashida Tlaib, a Palestinian Muslim, forcefully grabbed Laura Loomer, a Jewish independent journalist, then took her phone when Loomer approached her with questions that the congresswoman would not answer.

According to prominent attorney, Jared Beck, after watching the video says it is assault and battery, as well as, the felonious taking and removing of another’s personal property with the intent of depriving the true owner of it, or attempted theft.

Tlaib is also a congressional candidate.

Tough questions of Muslim candidates NOT allowed

Loomer tried to ask Omar if she’d be willing to admit that Hamas, a proxy of the Iranian government, is a terrorist organization like the U.S. government says it is. Loomer also continued to ask additional questions, such as whether Omar would faithfully serve her Jewish constituents if elected since she is a committed believer in Islam and the Muslim faith tradition is hostile to Jews. She also chided Omar for voting against legislation that would have made the Islamic practice of female genital mutilation a felony.

Finally, Loomer wanted to know why Omar chose to marry her own brother – a claim that Loomer says she has documents to substantiate.

You can watch the video of her questioning here:

By any measure, Washington Beltway reporters have been just as hard if not harder on White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and yet their network’s videos don’t get removed from Facebook and their network pages de-platformed like hers. (Related: What? So Facebook de-platforms Alex Jones but allows huge assortment of pro-terrorist filth across its platform.)

After Loomer posted the video to Facebook, the censoring Nazis there informed her she had ‘violated’ community rules and standards and that it was removed. But less than 24 hours later she found that her page was completely taken down as well; apparently, asking a Muslim congressional candidate tough but appropriate questions is not allowed on Facebook (or Twitter, or YouTube, or Google, or any Left-wing Big Tech platform).

Freedom of speech is systematically being destroyed in America by social media platforms that, ironically, managed to become as large and pervasive as they are on that very fundamental First Amendment guarantee.

If they’re not going to adhere to a constitutional mandate, then maybe it’s time for the federal government to de-platform them.
